Job summary

Southeast Connections LLC, located in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Concrete Finisher responsible for performing various tasks related to the installation and removal of concrete and other materials. The role involves significant physical activity, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors under varied weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and have at least 3 years of concrete experience. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and a willingness to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 3 years’ prior concrete experience valued.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork willingness.

Responsibilities

• Placing concrete, asphalt, and sod as needed.
• Erecting barricades and warning signs.
• Breaking up pavement using air hammer or sledge hammer.
• Drilling holes with hammer drill.
• Hand-digging to locate underground utilities.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment.
• Temporary patching road excavations.
• Operating shovels, gas tamps, and jack hammers.
• Willing to travel as needed; possibly up to 2 weeks at a time.
