BROTHERS Pro-Pave LLC in Texas is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction crew. You will place, finish, and repair concrete on foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs and more.

Ideal candidates have hands-on concrete experience, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and a commitment to high-quality finishes. The role requires physical stamina and willingness to travel for projects as needed.

Competenze

• 2+ years of concrete finishing experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong knowledge of concrete tools, techniques, and materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.

Mansioni

• Set and align concrete forms for sidewalks, curbs, pads, and slabs.
• Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds.
• Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools.
• Apply textures or surface treatments (broom finish, stamped).
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust finishing techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings as needed.
• Cure surfaces using appropriate compounds.
• Ensure quality control of thickness, slope and surface integrity.
• Direct casting of the concrete with the truck driver.
• Safely operate power vibrator to ensure concrete is compacted.
• Mold and construct expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.
• Polish surface using a power surfacing machine.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working order.
• Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
