Job summary

Standard Constructors, Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our field crew in Seadrift, TX. You will pour, level, form, and finish concrete, operate troweling equipment, and work safely in industrial construction environments on site.

You must have at least 2+ years of concrete finishing experience on heavy civil or industrial projects and be able to read project specs. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and crew while

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' concrete finishing experience.
• Experience working on heavy civil construction commercial job sites and/or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand the purpose and proper technique for vibrating concrete.
• Place, finish, protect, and repair concrete for projects.
• Place and spread concrete using various tools and level/float the surface per project specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
• Cut rods to required lengths using metal shears, hacksaws, or bar cutters.
• Assist other craft workers as needed.
