Job summary

High Concrete Group LLC in Denver, PA is hiring a Concrete Finisher (Pouring Crew) to support pouring operations for parking garages, stadiums, and commercial structures. This first shift starts at 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with no set end time as production dictates.

You'll handle hand tools, operate a crane for buckets, follow drawings, and maintain a clean, safe worksite while meeting schedule demands. Compensation starts at $20 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable using a measuring tape to 1/16 inch.
  • Good at following instructions and working in a team.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic math and measurement skills; familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential.
  • Prior concrete/construction experience is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints is a plus.

  • Pour, set, smooth, and finish concrete with hand tools.
  • Operate industrial crane to move concrete buckets.

The Concrete Finisher also known as the Pouring Crew is responsible for assisting in the pouring process, working in a timely and safe manner to ensure production schedules are met. Applies proper floated finish to dry concrete as specified on drawings or by the area supervisor. Members of the Pouring Crew are a part of our Production team and handle the pouring of Concrete for the purpose of building parking garages, sports complexes, and office/retail buildings. This is a 1st shift position starting at 8:00AM, working Monday-Friday, located in Denver, PA in our Architectural Building. No set end times, work until the work is finished. Positions start at $20.00/hour.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Responsible for utilizing hand tools to pour, set, smooth, and finish concrete
  • Operate industrial crane to move concrete buckets
  • Perform general labor and housekeeping tasks to maintain the work area.
  • Assist in other areas as needed
Our next team member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:
  • Comfortable operating measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch
  • Good with taking instructions, taking feedback, and working as a part of a team.
  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
  • Basic math & measurement skills are needed as well as knowledge of various hand, power & measurement tools
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are critical
  • Prior concrete and/or construction experience is helpful, but not required
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints is a plus!
