Job summary

Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers for our Heavy Highway and Commercial divisions in Iowa. Team members will perform duties such as curb-building by hand, mopping, edging, brooming, forming and grading to finish surfaces on roads and sidewalks.

Required 2-3+ years of heavy highway or commercial concrete finishing experience, with flexibility to work some Saturdays. CTI emphasizes safety and teamwork across projects with a strong emphasis on quality

Qualifications

• Proficient curb builder highly preferred.
• 2-3+ years' heavy highway or commercial concrete finishing experience required.
• Ability to work flexible hours M-F with some Saturdays.
• Work well under time constraints, and respond positively to change.
• Must pass post-conditional offer of employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Spread, smooth, level and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, and curbs.
• Hand build curbs with great attention to detail.
• Help assist other crew members when needed.
• Use and operate all tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Always maintain jobsite clear from clutter and garbage.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures including wearing appropriate safety equipment and using excellent safety practices while visiting job sites per CTI policies, OSHA, and Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
