Hutch Paving is seekingConcrete finishers to join our team in Warren, MI. The role involves finishing concrete, reading specs, setting forms, and ensuring openings meet project requirements.

You will operate trowels, floats, screeds, and grinders to produce high-quality flatwork. We offer competitive hourly pay and benefits packages including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) match, life/ disability coverage, paid holidays, and guaranteed days off.

Qualifications

• Experience finishing concrete to specification.
• Ability to read and interpret project specs.
• Proficiency with hand and power finishing tools.
• Capability to setup forms and pitches for pours.
• Familiarity with curing and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Finish concrete surfaces using floats, trowels, and screeds.
• Vibrate, level, and smooth surfaces per specs.
• Set forms to correct pitch and depth.
• Repair defects with grinders or chisels.
• Patch holes with epoxy or concrete.
• Handle edges and obstacles in flatwork pours.

Hutch Paving is currently looking for Concrete finishers to join our team growing team.

Concrete Finishers perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Place, form and finish concrete using floats, trowels and screeds to level concrete.
• Vibrate, level, smooth, and shape surfaces.
• Read, understand and execute specifications of job.
• Set forms to hold concrete to desire pitch and depth.
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces by operating power grinder or chisel and hammer.
• Patch holes with concrete or epoxy compound.
• Ability to hand finish edges, pipes, drains and other obstacles in flatwork pours.
• Knowledge and ability to operate various machinery related to concrete.
• All Other Duties as Assigned
