Responsibilities
Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth
Pour, spread, and level concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds
Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools (trowels, floats, edgers, and power trowels)
Monitor curing process and apply curing compounds as needed
Cut joints and ensure proper expansion control
Repair, resurface, and replace damaged concrete
Operate basic construction equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers
Additional tasks as needed to support operations
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license strongly preferred
2+ years of experience as a concrete finisher or similar role preferred
Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and specifications
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
Experience with hand and power tools used in concrete work
Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites as scheduled
OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
