Asphalt Contractors Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team in Union Grove, Wisconsin.

The role focuses on placing, finishing, and repairing concrete across commercial projects, requiring dependability, safety awareness, and concrete finishing expertise. Responsibilities include setting forms, pouring, spreading, leveling, finishing, and brooming concrete, as well as installing sidewalks, curbs, and other concrete work.

Qualifications

• Previous concrete finishing experience required.
• Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, curing, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read grades and work to established elevations and slopes.
• Experience with commercial, roadway, or heavy civil concrete work preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and regularly bend, kneel, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to work well as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Set forms and prepare areas for concrete placement.
• Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete.
• Use hand and power tools including screeds, floats, trowels, edgers, and saws.
• Finish concrete to required elevations, slopes, and specifications.
• Perform broom, smooth, and other specified concrete finishes.
• Install and finish sidewalks, curb and gutter, slabs, approaches, and other concrete work.
• Assist with layout, grading, forming, and site preparation as needed.
• Remove forms and perform minor concrete repairs or patching.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
• Work closely with foremen, operators, laborers, and other crew members.
