Our team has an exciting opportunity for a Concrete Finisher.

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete restoration repairs for on-grade flatwork and restore structural concrete elements such as columns, beams, joists, soffits, walls, and curbs.
• Set forms and strike off with experience using straight edge techniques, and finish concrete surfaces.
• Finish poured concrete slabs using hand tools or power trowel machines.
• Set and position forms to correct elevations for floors or site work.
• Cut joints and grooves in concrete with hand tools and set string lines for layout.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least three years of experience as a cement finisher.
• Ability to travel within a 3-4 hour radius from the home location.
• Membership in or willingness to join an affiliated union.
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; trainable.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
