Job summary

Lagoon Corporation is seeking a Concrete Finisher to perform skilled concrete work across park buildings, rides, walkways, and foundations. The role emphasizes safety, quality craftsmanship, and guest-focused operations while supporting park construction tasks.

The ideal candidate has concrete/masonry experience, reads plans, and can work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. You will operate hand and power tools and collaborate with a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Concrete or masonry experience preferred.
Knowledge of mixing, placement, finishing, curing, and repair methods.
Ability to read measurements and follow layouts.
Strong safety awareness and PPE usage.
Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Prepare job sites for concrete work, including demolition, grading, form building, and layout.
Mix, pour, place, and finish concrete for footings, flatwork, curbs, pads, and structural elements.
Use hand and power tools to achieve textures, slopes, and finishes.
Set forms, rebar, mesh, and reinforcement per Lagoon standards.
Perform concrete repairs, patching, joint work, sealing, grinding, and decorative finishing as required.
Assist with operating construction equipment such as skid steers, trenchers, concrete saws, and mixers.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
