Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature, and cylinder sets, and verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge.

You will document results daily, travel to multiple sites, and work outdoors. No experience is required for entry level; we train and sponsor certifications such as ACI Field Grade I and NICET as you progress.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather and sites.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM standards.
• Run field density and moisture tests.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on-site.
