Job summary

CERTERRA is a growing national provider of testing, inspection, and certification services serving national and international clients from multiple offices. The position involves interpreting project plans, performing soils and concrete inspections, and preparing field reports on daily activities and results.

You will interact with client representatives, work outdoors in all weather, and must meet licensing requirements including ICC/ACI certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector Certificate.
• U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work on federal military installation sites.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project plans and specifications for compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and submit written field reports summarizing daily activities/observations and results.
• Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact with client representative at project sites.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Complete soils inspections, including Earthwork operations and compaction, sampling and testing of fill.
• Complete concrete inspections, including pre-placement, placement, and post-placement inspections.
