Temcon Concrete Construction Co. is seeking a Commercial Concrete Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and scope analyses for commercial concrete projects in Tempe, AZ.

The role involves reviewing project specs, conducting site assessments, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and developing bids that reflect labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. Key duties include bid document collection, scope determination from drawings, supplier/subcontractor

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience estimating commercial concrete projects.
• Knowledge of cast in place concrete construction, concrete footings, foundations and site work.
• Knowledge of related structural products including form material/rebar.
• Ability to assemble the scope of work with inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications.
• Knowledge of construction terminology and estimating software packages.
• Proficiency with computer tools, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Seek bid documents and maintain contact with prospective client representatives.
• Review proposals, specifications and drawings to determine scope and develop quantity take-offs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, and GCs.
• Perform site visits to determine work conditions and needs.
• Prepare proposals and bid packages; revise bids as requested by clients.
