Job summary

Bartley Corp, a longstanding concrete construction company, seeks an experienced Concrete Estimator to manage bid invitations, plan reading, and takeoffs. You will develop budgets, price proposals, and collaborate with production to ensure seamless handoffs.

Based in Silver Spring, Maryland and serving residential and commercial projects, the team values accuracy, teamwork, and timely proposals. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills with spreadsheet proficiency (Excel) and strong verbal communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and blueprints to determine scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and onscreen take-offs.
• Develop estimates and budgeting assumptions.
• Manage bid invitations and vendor pricing.
• Prepare contract proposals and handoff to production.
• Present proposals and navigate the gate process.
• Review contract scope and price with team.
