Job summary

Metromont LLC in Winchester, VA is seeking an experienced foreman to supervise a crew installing concrete materials on job sites. You will guide, position, and align precast units and ensure bearing pads are properly placed.

Responsibilities include supervising up to 10 workers, enforcing safety policies, coordinating with precast engineers, and ensuring plans and timelines are followed. Travel is required and OSHA-10 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 10 hours of OSHA training.
• Prior experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervision of a crew of up to 10 employees.
• Guide, place, and align precast/prestressed concrete units.
• Ensure bearing pads are in place and aligned.
• Move and maintain control lines and equipment.
• Install temporary bracing as required by precast engineer.
• Communicate with crane signals and two-way radio clearly.
• Read and follow plans, materials, and timelines.
• Operate aerial lifts and skid-loaders as needed.
• Erect precast units within PCI tolerances.
• Enforce safety policies and document disciplinary actions.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and tools.
