Job summary

Knight’s Companies Inc. is seeking a Concrete Delivery Professional to operate a ready-mix truck, delivering high-quality concrete to job sites while upholding safety and customer service standards.

This role requires a CDL, valid REAL ID, and a minimum of 1 year of CDL experience. The company emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in its growing operation across its Redi-Mix, Precast, Trucking, and Pumping units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI violations in past 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• 18+ in SC; 21+ in GA.
• Basic math skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads for slump, texture, color, and quality.
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departure.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Complete paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Keep truck clean and perform minor maintenance.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members as needed.
