Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction, Madison, WI is seeking a Laborer I to support concrete construction operations. This entry-level position assists skilled tradespeople, prepares and cleans job sites, handles materials, and operates basic tools on foundations, slabs, walls, and curbs.

You will perform general labor, use power tools, endure varying weather, and meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds (90 with assistance). OSHA 30 desired; union position; full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Entry-level Laborer I capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
• Preference for 12 months of formwork/concrete labor experience.
• OSHA 30-hour card desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor to include jobsite clean-up and moving of materials by hand.
• Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
• Assist in pouring of vertical concrete.
• Install reshores per instructions.
• Work during inclement weather, could be exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise and dust from construction operations depending upon project site.
