Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Indianapolis is offering a Concrete Construction Intern program that runs about 12 weeks on the job site. You will learn fundamentals of concrete construction under a dedicated manager and mentors through our training program.

You will gain hands-on experience in field engineering, forming walls and columns, inspections, and production tracking, with opportunities to grow and potentially transition to a Project Engineer role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Actively utilize resources, including managers and mentors, to understand project scope and safety/quality plans.
• Impact the project by developing plans to execute work objectives, track progress, and replan based on feedback.
• Manage daily safety, quality, and execution of work objectives.
• Learn through hands-on performance with our teams through the daily preparation plan and project execution process.
• Duties may include field engineering, forming walls/columns, inspections, loadout, finished placements, prep & forming slabs, production tracking, quantity take-offs, slab prep on grade/deck, and more.
• Demonstrate drive to excel; be action-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.
• Join a team that builds; work may occur on rough terrain and in inclement weather; reliable commute to job sites.
