Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Carpenter 2 to perform concrete and finish carpentry on a variety of construction projects, including new builds and renovations.

The role requires knowledge of concrete tools, formwork, and finishing, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. Candidates should have 2+ years in carpentry/construction and be prepared for non-traditional hours and physical work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant apprenticeship/training preferred.
• 2+ years in carpentry or concrete trade; commercial construction experience preferred.
• Must have strong knowledge of concrete/formwork/finish carpentry practices.

Responsibilities

• Set forms for concrete (foundations, SOG, bulkheads).
• Place concrete using bucket, chute, pump; follow placement procedures.
• Perform basic to advanced finishing of concrete with floats and trowels.
• Install safety railings, doors, hardware, blocking; adhere to OSHA standards.
