Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Concrete Carpenter/Finisher based in Colorado Springs to perform skilled concrete construction on project sites across the region. This role involves demolition of existing concrete, sub-grade prep, and finishing work under varying weather conditions.

You will read blueprints, assist with scaffolding, operate hand and power tools, and help teammates to lay out elevations and formwork.

Qualifications

• 5 years of concrete construction experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist foremen in layout and elevations for formwork.
• Place and tie reinforcement; prepare for concrete placements.
• Operate hand and power tools listed and perform concrete finishing.
• Read and understand construction blueprints.
• Load, transport and unload forming materials and supplies.
• Identify unsafe work practices and follow safety procedures.
