Job summary

The TEPA Companies in Colorado Springs are seeking a Concrete Carpenter/Finisher to perform on-site concrete tasks, including demolition, sub-grade prep, and finishing. This role offers on-the-job training and travel to nearby project sites as needed.

The position requires 5 years of concrete construction experience, ability to operate a range of hand and power tools, ladder access, and the capacity to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5 years of concrete construction experience.
• Experience using hand, pneumatic, electric, and motor-powered tools and equipment.
• Some experience operating heavy equipment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to climb ladders and/or operate manlifts.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foremen in layout and elevations for new formwork and foundations.
• Place and tie structural reinforcement and prep concrete placements.
• Operate hand and power tools for onsite concrete work.
• Read and understand construction blueprints.
• Assist in scaffolding erection and bracing.
• Load, transport, and unload forming materials and supplies.
• Identify and follow safe working procedures and stop unsafe practices.
