Job summary

Rusin Concrete is seeking conscientious Carpenter artisans to join our Colorado team. The role focuses on forming, pouring, and finishing concrete with attention to safety, teamwork, and high-quality results. You will help set up forms, place materials, and monitor curing across changing weather conditions.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of concrete exposure and general construction experience. Strong tool skills and reliable collaboration with coworkers and the public are essential for

Qualifications

• 1 year of concrete experience.
• Minimum 1 year general construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to tie rebar/steel, build concrete forms and mix/pour/finish concrete.
• Ability to use all types of hand tools.
• Ability to create effective working relationships with employees and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Rusin’s Core Values and work with a team.
• Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand/power trowel, hand/power screed and float.
• Monitor curing process with varying wind, heat, or cold.
• Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge.
