Job summary

Titan America in Medley, Florida is hiring a Cuber Operator for our concrete block manufacturing facility. Under the direction of the plant manager and shift supervisor, you will operate, monitor, and maintain equipment to produce quality blocks.

You will keep the work area clean, adhere to safety rules, perform inspections, and log quality data. The job requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 95 pounds, and prior machine operation experience.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least 1 year of machine operator experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read rulers and tape measures and perform basic math.
• Proficient in English reading, writing and speaking as required by safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area in clean and hazard free condition.
• Operate machine control panels with electronic switches.
• Visually inspect products and by-products for conformity to prescribed quality standards such as color, shape and corners. Remove poor quality products and by-products as required.
• Make minor adjustment and repairs on machinery, such as removing jams.
• Monitor the operation of manufacturing equipment to detect and report malfunctions.
• Perform quality control and fill out documentation.
• Empty reject dumpsters, clean loose material from around conveyors and batching equipment.
• Perform other functions and duties as required or directed, such as assisting with maintenance, cleaning and repair of machinery.
• Follow all safety rules.
