Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Block Plant Team Member to support daily production of concrete blocks in a fast-paced plant in Michigan. You will assist machine operators, keep the work area clean, and help with material handling and packaging for shipment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and able to follow instructions while working as part of a team; forklift experience is a plus, and you may learn plant procedures on the job.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or material-handling experience is helpful but not required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Willingness to learn plant equipment and production procedures.
• Forklift or industrial equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of concrete block production equipment and machinery.
• Load, unload, stack, and move concrete blocks and raw materials.
• Inspect blocks for visible defects and separate damaged or defective products.
• Assist machine operators with production tasks and material handling.
• Keep production areas, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Sweep, shovel, and remove excess concrete, dust, and debris.
• Assist with pallets, packaging, strapping, and preparing finished products for shipment.
• Perform basic cleanup and routine maintenance around the plant as directed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate equipment problems, safety concerns, or production issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other general plant and production duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Concrete Block Plant Team Member assists with the daily production of concrete blocks and other precast concrete products. This position supports machine operators and production staff by keeping the production area clean, organized, and running efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of concrete block production equipment and machinery.
• Load, unload, stack, and move concrete blocks and raw materials.
• Inspect blocks for visible defects and separate damaged or defective products.
• Assist machine operators with production tasks and material handling.
• Keep production areas, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

• Ability to safely perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
