Qualifications

• Must hold NY State Security Guard License.
• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate.
• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate.
• Experience as Security Supervisor in residential, corporate, concierge or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors.
• Monitor building access points and awareness of building activity.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
• Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required.
• Maintain control of building and concierge keys documentation.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Coordinate with building management and staff to support daily operations.
• Enforce building policies with calm, professional demeanor.
• Ensure clear communication during shift transitions for continuity.
