GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Supervisor for our Portland, Oregon site. The role features a full-time graveyard schedule (Sun–Thu, 11 p.m.–7 a.m., 40 hours) with a competitive hourly wage of $26.90.

• Set schedule: Full-time, Sunday thru Thursday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Graveyard, 40 Hours

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Supervisor

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Ensure that GardaWorld Security core values are integrated into and throughout all business practice.
• Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility and ensure service is of the highest standards – capable of representing GardaWorld as the premier provider of security services in the industry
• Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staff
• Maintain the goal of zero safety incidents, while at the same time managing a robust safety culture and a robust safety program that is appropriate to the operating environments
• Regularly review security officer schedules and staffing levels to identify opportunities for improvement of security operations, decreased risk, and reduced cost where possible
• Immediate responsibility to direct, supervise, and support shift officers.
• Supervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site.
• Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site.
• Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making in performing all duties.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Concierge Security Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience
• Customer Service experience
• 1 year of security supervising experience required
