GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Tampa, FL. The role emphasizes customer service while performing access control and security duties across office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

You will engage with visitors, verify identities, and conduct patrols, ensuring safety of people and property. A Florida Class D license and HS diploma are required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Must have Florida Class D Security License

Responsibilities

• Welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
