Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Portland, OR seeks a Concierge Security Officer to blend security with customer service. You will welcome visitors, verify identity, and guide people across office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

This full-time role offers shifts 6:00–14:30 (40 hours) with a $20.50/hour wage. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, disability, life insurance, and a provided uniform.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate concerns
• Ensure safety of individuals and property
