Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work with a concierge physician, providing healthcare services and health coaching for corporate clients. You will conduct patient assessments, coordinate care, and support satisfaction goals in a high-visibility role.

Responsibilities include front and back-office duties, extensive EMR use, venipuncture, injections, and assisting procedures while ensuring a positive patient experience. Health coaching certification opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification and nursing license to practice in the state for which you are applying.
• Minimum of one year experience in primary care and at least two years working in an administrative capacity.
• Must have exceptional phlebotomy skills.
• Willingness to become a Certified Health Coach

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess patients to obtain medical information and report findings to physician.
• Extensive use of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests and work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Assist with medical procedures.
• Administer injections and vaccinations.
• Coordinate off-site wellness events.
• Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment (e.g. O2 therapy, EKG).
• Infection control procedures throughout the clinic.
• Manage supplies and inventory.
• Maintain patient flow and scheduling; handle calls and referrals.
• Respond to patient/pharmacy/office inquiries as delegated by physician.
• Fulfill medical record requests and abstraction.
• Make the medical visit a positive and supportive experience for each patient
