Job summary

Private Medical in San Francisco is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join our onsite team. You will support physician dispensing, assist clinical teams with pharmacy tasks, and help manage prescriptions and inventory in a concierge medicine setting.

The role requires California licensure, at least two years of experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. You will collaborate with nurses, pharmacists and staff across offices, with occasional training travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active California Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Two years of recent pharmacy technician experience.
• National certification (CPhT) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label prescriptions under physician direction.
• Collaborate with clinical teams on medication prior authorizations.
• Oversee pharmaceutical inventory: ordering, stocking, labeling, disposal.
• Receive and verify medication shipments; log inventory.
• Monitor and manage expired or recalled medications.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and provide service to members.
• Manage data across EHR, Salesforce, inventory systems, spreadsheets.
• Undertake administrative tasks and ensure compliance with standards.
