Oaklawn is seeking a Concierge to warmly greet guests, assist with reservations, spa bookings, nightlife recommendations, transportation, and tours at our Hotel/Casino in Hot Springs. The role emphasizes professional service, confidentiality, and helpful information on local attractions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One-year guest service experience is required.
• Concierge experience preferred.
• Must be able to handle several projects and tasks at the same time.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Concierges are the first point of contact with guests. Aconciergeassists guests by performing varioustaskssuch as making restaurant reservations, arranging for spa services, recommending night life hot spots, booking transportation, etc. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the Hotel/Casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
• Provides impeccable guest service to all guests
• Ensures customer needs are met: provide directions; suggestions for restaurants.
• Coordinates special events or special projects.
• Assists guest with problems with hotel services.
• Provides information on the geographical area.
• Suggests site-seeing locations, provide directions and arrange tours.
• Assists guests in making travel arrangements to and from airports or other local destinations.
• Makes reservations for meals at various restaurants.
• Follows established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
