Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group's Lone Tree Family Practice is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant to support the Personalized Care program. You will room patients, document vital signs, assist providers, and help maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited healthcare program, and current CPR/BLS certification. Prior family medicine experience and CMA credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited healthcare program such as Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT, or equivalent.
• Maintain certifications in accordance with state guidelines.
• National CMA strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year Medical Assistant experience in family or internal medicine.
• Current BLS card required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and complete intake by rooming patients and obtaining medical history.
• Document vital signs accurately.
• Update electronic medical record with allergies, medications, and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures; perform point-of-care testing as trained.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies; ensure clean, organized spaces.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient information.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Accredited healthcare program (Medical Assistant, CMA, LPN, EMT)

Current BLS/CPR certification

At least 1 year Medical Assistant experience in family/internal medicine

National CMA preferred
