Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills is hiring a Medical Assistant to join the outpatient care team. You will support patient relations, perform basic clinical tasks, and help prepare patients for examinations, while maintaining accurate records and patient information.

Responsibilities include assisting with appointments, ensuring clean and ready exam rooms, and complying with infection prevention standards and QA measures. Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, take vital signs, review medications, and document in the medical record.
• Explain policies and procedures to patients and assist with department workflows.
• Prepare exam rooms and reprocess equipment as per standards.
• Assist with scheduling and maintain patient demographics and insurance information.
• Support QA measures and infection prevention standards within the department.
• Address patient, physician, and staff concerns and escalate as needed.
