Job summary

Holt Senior Care & Rehab Center in Holt, MI is seeking a part-time Concierge Host to greet guests, take meal orders, and support dining services. The role involves coordinating with the RDN/Exec Chef and updating daily menus, while ensuring meals are served appetitely and in line with policies.

The position offers a base wage of $14.50 per hour, with yearly wage increases and comprehensive benefits including medical, PTO, dental/vision, holiday pay, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• ServSafe and Allergen Trained.
• Starbucks Barista trained is preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing.
• Good interpersonal skills with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care!

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, explaining the menu, and taking daily meal orders.
• Meet and talk with guests daily and take meal orders.
• Adapt to resident and guest preferences and input in Nutrition Management program.
• Print meal production sheets and meal tickets.
• Update the daily menu for dining rooms.
• Assist with serving meals and ensure portions and sanitation standards are followed.

The Concierge is responsible for providing assistance in all food functions as directed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. This position's main responsibility being in charge of capturing meal orders for our residents and guests. Our residents and guests look forward to their meals every day and we look forward to providing them with great food that invokes happiness and joy.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• Part Time position includes rotating weekends and some holidays
• Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• No late nights!

How you will help people every day:

• Greeting of guests to the building, providing explanation of our menu, and ordering process for our daily specials as well as our Always Available Menu.
• Meeting and talking with guests on a daily basis and taking meal orders.
• Acquiring resident and guest preferences and collaborating with the RDN or Exec Chef on input in the Nutrition Management program.
• Printing of meal production sheet for each meal and meal tickets.
• Updating of the daily menu for the dining rooms.
• Assist with the serving of meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and prepare and serve food and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.
