Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection’s Glacier National Park Lodges is hiring a Concierge for the summer season. You will coordinate drivers, ensure proper uniform and grooming, and post dispatch lineups and manifests to support guest transportation.

The role is seasonal, typically 40 hours per week, with weekends/evenings possible. Pay is $14.65/hr, with employee housing meals and other benefits offered by Glacier Life in Glacier. Join a team dedicated to hospitality and park stewardship.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable of the National Park and all facilities and activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
• Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous with guests and co-workers.
• Must have basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates drivers at each location, posts driver dispatch lineups and manifests.
• Dispatches and receives all buses leaving or arriving at each location.
• Addresses information requests and guest complaints to satisfaction.
• Makes and files daily Transportation/Information Desk reports.
• Quotes fares, issues tickets and balances cash and credit card transactions.

Job Summary:

Coordinates drivers each location, responsible for daily lineup of drivers, checking for proper uniform, grooming, etc. Posts driver dispatch lineups and manifests.

The Details:

Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: starting In June and ending between mid-September and early-October 2026 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $14.65/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates drivers each location, responsible for daily lineup of drivers, checking for proper uniform, grooming, etc. Posts driver dispatch lineups and manifests.
• Dispatches and receives all busses leaving or arriving at each location.
• Addresses requests for information and complaints and handles appropriately to answer the guest’s complaint or request to the satisfaction of the guest.
• Makes and files all daily Transportation/Information Desk reports.
• Quotes cost of fares, issues tickets and receives payment. Responsible for balancing cash and credit card transactions.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable of the National Park and all of its facilities and activities so that information given to guests is informative and accurate.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with immediate staff and all levels of management within the company.
• Must be friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with guests and co-workers; be able to handle guest concerns in a professional and tactful manner; use tact and discretion due to exposure to confidential matters; and be team oriented.
• Must have basic phone and computer skills.

Physical Requirements include:

• Must be able to sit, stand, stretch, bend for up to a 10 hour day.
• Must be able to work in sub-zero weather for a short period of time.
• Must be able to work at a desk within a historic hotel or lodge.
