The Barrington of Carmel, part of the BHI Senior Living family, is seeking a Driver to support resident transportation, errands, and in-home assistance with a concierge approach.

You will help residents stay independent, safe, and comfortable while delivering compassionate, reliable service in a senior living community setting.

Formación

• Commercial Driver License and State Driver's License are required.
• For Hire Endorsement is preferred but not required.
• CDL – Class C is a plus for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, events, and errands.
• Provide concierge-style assistance to residents, including helping with packages and day-to-day needs.
• Assist residents within their homes with light support and mobility tasks as needed.
• Walk with residents on campus, accompany them to activities, and provide mobility support.

In This Role You Will:

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community activities, errands, and off-campus events.
• Provide concierge-style assistance to residents, including delivering packages, helping with apartment move-outs or cleanouts, and supporting day-to-day needs.
• Assist residents within their homes as needed, including light support tasks that promote comfort, safety, and independence.
• Walk with residents on campus, accompany them to activities or appointments, and provide mobility support as appropriate.
• Assist residents with pet care support such as walking pets or helping with related errands.
• Help residents enter and exit vehicles and assist with walkers, wheelchairs, personal items, and other equipment.
• Escort residents during appointments or outings and remain with them when appropriate.
• Cover the Concierge Desk as needed, greeting visitors, answering phones, assisting residents and guests, and supporting Residential Services operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of community vehicles, promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
• Monday – Fridays and weekends as needed

Who You Are:

• You have a valid driver’s license with a For Hire Endorsement and a clean driving record.
• You are able to meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements.
• You are dependable, flexible, and comfortable assisting with a variety of resident needs beyond driving.
• You communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Preferred: CDL – Class C and prior professional driving or concierge/service experience.
