Green Thumb Industries (RISE Dispensaries) is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist in Carson City, NV. The role blends hospitality with security, delivering a concierge-style experience for guests while upholding safety and compliance.

The APS engages across teams to maintain a welcoming environment and protect people and assets on the floor. The successful candidate will have 1+ year of customer-facing experience, familiarity with POS systems, and a strong commitment to hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a strong commitment to guest-first, hospitality-focused service.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs .
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance .
• Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements .
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID .
• Must be 21 years or older and meet all state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry .

Responsibilities

• Welcoming & Check-In Experience: greet visitors, check-in with professionalism, and direct traffic.
• Safety, Security & Support: deter incidents, monitor entry/exit and perimeters, de-escalate situations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: build relationships with store teams, share safety insights, help train new APS.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
