Job summary

Ivy Park at Santa Monica is seeking a friendly Concierge to greet visitors, fulfill resident requests, arrange tours, answer a multi-line phone, and provide clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Shifts are Thursday to Sunday, 4-8 p.m. Applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to use MS Office. Health and background checks are required, with benefits available for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of hospitality or senior living experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Able to interact effectively with employees, residents and families.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings including TB tests.
• Compliance with vaccination and PPE policies as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record and direct calls clearly and professionally.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond to every call.
• Manage the business center and process mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with staff.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
