Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, operating Ivy Park at Santa Monica, seeks a Concierge to greet visitors and fulfill resident requests. You will arrange tours, answer calls, and provide clerical support for the admin team in a senior living community.

Applicants should have strong customer service, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work Thursdays through Sundays 4-8 p.m. A background health screen and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of hospitality or senior living experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Able to operate a PC and MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Able to interact effectively with staff, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.
• Careful about health safety, may require vaccination and PPE adherence.

Shifts, Time, and Days: Thursday-Sunday, 4-8 p.m.

Pay Range: $18.50 - 19.50 per hour

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
