Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Concierge at Oakmont of Riverpark in Oxnard, CA. The role handles greeting visitors, answering calls, assisting residents, and supporting administrative staff in a hospitality-focused environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong customer service, and familiarity with MS Office. Applicants may be asked to pass a background check and health screenings; vaccination requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of hospitality experience or in a senior living setting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a computer and use MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening required.
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.


• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.


• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.


• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.


• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.


• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)


• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.


• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests


• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
