Job summary

Oakmont of Camarillo, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hosting a Hiring Event every Wednesday from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 305 Davenport St, Camarillo, CA 93012. The Concierge greets visitors, handles resident requests, tours, and clerical support while upholding Oakmont's values.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong communication, and computer skills; background checks and health screenings are required. Health, dental, vision benefits, and more are offered to team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two years of hospitality experience in a senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and use MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB).
• Compliance with health and safety guidelines including PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors.
• Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor Emergency Alert System and respond promptly.
• Process mail and manage business center duties.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Foster teamwork and coordinate with other departments.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
