Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey in Jersey City is seeking a full-time Receptionist to greet visitors, direct calls, and support participants and staff. This hourly role offers up to $18 per hour, medical benefits, paid time off, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, proficiency with MS Office, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Experience with senior populations is a plus.

Basic Qualifications

• High School DiplomaGED

Experience

• One year as a receptionist andor switchboard operator with the ability to use a desktop computer copier fax telephone
• 1 year experience with the senior population

General Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Center Director the Receptionist performs tasks that include greeting directing and assisting participants visitors vendors and employees
• Incumbent answers and appropriately directs all incoming calls and acts as a liaison between participants managerial staff and specific vendors
