Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Concierge to join our front-desk team in Rhode Island. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm, with daily pay and a pay rate of $22–$25 per hour.

The Concierge will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, delivering a warm, professional experience from arrival onward. The position supports smooth facility operations, answers calls, provides information, and coordinates

Qualifications

• Active CNA license preferred in the state.
• Customer service experience required; healthcare setting preferred.
• Professional verbal and written communication; phone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, staff and vendors.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer and transfer incoming calls courteously and clearly.
• Provide information and assistance to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties to support front-desk operations.
• Greet and assist potential residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
• Take messages and relay information to appropriate colleagues promptly.
• Coordinate information flow and front-desk support across the facility.
• Maintain a calm, professional presence while handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities for Concierge:

• Answer and transfer all incoming calls in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
• Provide information, direction, and appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors with professionalism and warmth.
• Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support smooth facility operations.
• Greet and assist potential residents, families, visitors, and vendors, creating a positive and welcoming first impression of the facility.
• Manage both internal and external calls, accurately take messages, and ensure timely communication to appropriate individuals.
• Serve as a central point of contact to coordinate information flow and support day-to-day front-desk operations.
• Maintain a calm, professional presence while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications for Concierge:

• Current and active CNA license in the state strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service role required; experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional presence, positive attitude, and solution-focused mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, visitors, staff, and individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and demands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals of varying personalities and temperaments.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve immediate concerns appropriately.
