Job summary

St. Supéry Estate Winery in California is seeking a part-time hospitality team member to greet guests, manage tastings, and ensure smooth operations on Fridays through Sundays.

You will handle reservations, assist with daily prep, maintain displays, stock shelves, and support events and retail tasks. Ideal candidates have guest-service experience and can learn the winery story to share with visitors.

Qualifications

• Wine or restaurant experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide first-class hospitality while managing appointments.
• Provide phone coverage and handle reservations.
• Prepare for the day (printing schedules).
• Maintain visual displays and merchandise; stock shelves.
• Support staff by washing glasses, aiding events, cleaning, and assisting retail operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

St. Supéry Estate Winery has an exciting opportunity in our hospitality department. This position ensures smooth operations with Winery hospitality by greeting guests and preparing for tastings. This is a part- time position, Friday- Sunday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet each guest personally and offer first class hospitality while showing them their appointments.
• Provide phone coverage and make reservations.
• Prepare for day including printing schedules
• Helps maintain visual displays, and merchandise; stocks shelves
• Supports staff by washing glasses, setting up for events, cleaning, and aiding retail operations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be a ‘team player’
• Ability to learn the St. Supéry story and communicate it to visitors as needed
• Winery and/or restaurant experience preferred
• Customer service experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
• Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Must be able to perform a variety of tasks, including operating the cash register and general housekeeping
• Ability to communicate and work well with others, including customers, trade visitors, management, supervisors, and co-workers
