Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Concessions Supervisor for Zulu Grille. You will supervise the Concessions department, provide leadership, and support department management to ensure guest satisfaction and high service standards.

As a member of the leadership team, you will guide associates, maintain product quality, and foster a positive work environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in front-of-house operations or supervisory roles in a hotel or resort.
• Prior full-service restaurant experience required.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual not required.
• State/local law may require alcohol awareness certification and food handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Concessions department and support the Restaurant Manager and F&B Director.
• Fill in as needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Coach and train staff for professional development.
• Ensure equipment is clean and maintained per preventive maintenance programs.

Concessions Supervisor - Zulu Grille

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Concessions Supervisorfor Zulu Grille. In this role, you will be responsible forproviding supervision, leadership and support to the Concessions department. To assist in all functions and aspects of department management. To manage and maintain guest satisfaction in the concession areas.

You’ll ensure high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort, communicating expectations and enforcing those policies and procedures with restaurant associates.
• Fill in where needed (as associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of professional development.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

What We’re Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory positions in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
