Position Summary

Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the food & beverage service of guests in the arena at various concessions stands, bars, and portable food & beverage locations. The Concessions Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever‑changing fast‑paced environment. The Concessions Supervisor will assist the Concessions Manager and the rest of the OVG leadership team with projects including training, inventory, and special events. The Concessions Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00. Benefits for Part‑Time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 16, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper setup of all concession locations prior to doors.
• Verify opening inventory, assign duties to concession workers, ensure sanitation standards, verify operational readiness, and assess food production levels based on projected guest attendance.
• Ensure SL or NFP stand leaders have followed proper procedures for distribution and handling of cash.
• Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise for smooth, efficient, and profitable event execution.
• Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices.
• Willing to cover or back up any open position to assure the location is fully operational and company standards for speed of service and guest satisfaction are met.
• Assist with Premium Services operations and event needs, as directed.
• Ensure a safe work environment free from harassment or discrimination.
• Immediately address all safety concerns, potential hazards, accidents, or incidents, and relay safety/health issues to management.
• Maintain working knowledge of all concession locations, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent areas, and facility access.
• Ensure event staff and volunteers understand workplace expectations.
• Provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to event staff and volunteers.
• Promote a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative workplace environment.
• Reinforce procedures and practices through repetition; lead by example and provide constructive feedback.
• Supervise beverage service to guests, including alcoholic beverages.
• Verify guest ID to satisfy minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase.
• Record guest orders and relay them to the kitchen via the POS system.
• Observe guests to respond to requests and determine when meals are completed.
• Compute cost of the meal and present the check to the guest.
• Accept payments and provide change as necessary.
• Recommend dishes and explain menu items.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance.
• Ensure equipment is operable and clean prior to events.
• Recognize visibly intoxicated guests and take action to cut off alcohol.
• Enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Assist management with training, inventory, and special event projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
