Oak View Group is seeking a Concessions Supervisor to oversee concessions service at events in Orlando, FL. The role requires ensuring guest satisfaction, supervising staff, and maintaining food and beverage operations throughout events.

The position is part-time with an hourly rate of $28.00–$30.00 and benefits. The candidate will support the Director of Concessions and help with training, inventory, and event operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment.
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate and valid alcohol service permit as required by Florida law.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS and inventory.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Position Summary

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for supervising the service of guests at the venue functions . The Concessions Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment . The Concessions Supervisor will assist the Director of Concessions and the rest of the OVG leadership team with projects including traini ng, inventory, and s pecial ev ents . The Concessions Supervisor m ust m ain tain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled for business needs .

This role pays an hourly rate of $28.00 - $30.00.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the setup and service of concessions food and beverage.
• Assist in recording a guest’s order via the POS system.
• Observe guests to respond to any additional requests or observations and always strive to deliver excellent guest service to internal and external guests.
• Ensure that menus and products are stocked and ready at the beginning of the event.
• Supervises the setup of concessions functions, including beverages, snacks, and paper product s.
• Train and coach new & current employees on standard operation procedures in the concessions area.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Ensures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
• Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
• Enforce all OVG and DPC policies and procedures.
• Supervises a talented team of concessions workers and part-time temporary labor workers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment. Ability to supervise the work of others.
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate and valid alcohol service permit as required by the state of Florida.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory
• Basic proficiency in office software, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
