Job summary

Oak View Group in Massachusetts is seeking a Concessions Worker to prepare and serve concession items, beverages, and manage cash transactions with accuracy. The role emphasizes attendance, quality presentation, and guest service in a dynamic live entertainment setting.

The position is part-time, pays $15.00 per hour and is tip eligible. Experience in food service and cash handling is preferred, with opportunities to learn and grow within Concessions operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred or willingness to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
• Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Position Summary

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.
