General Definition
Responsible for the supervision of team members, and providing quality food and beverage service to each guest.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains quality control of food and the sanitation of area.
- Adheres to manager instructions and appropriate cash handling guidelines as directed.
- Maintains appropriate food levels and inventory as required.
- Keeps an accurate account of product and inventory in accordance with inventory control procedures.
- Supervises stand staff to ensure all duties are performed timely, efficiently and professionally.
- Follows directions of the supervisor and cash handling policy guidelines as directed
- Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation
High school diploma or GED; or 3 year related experience and/or training; or combination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess good organization skills.
- Basic math.
- Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management.
- Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness.
Training
Three years of food and beverage operation experience required, including one year of management experience
Licenses/Certifications/Other
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
- Serve-safe certified (Food Handlers)
- Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission License (TABC)
