Position Title: Concessions Lead

Pay Range: $19/hr - $20/hr + Tip Eligible

Event Based Schedule: MLB Season

Join the excitement of game days and events at the iconic Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to become part of our Concessions team and help deliver unforgettable culinary experiences to our guests.

Job Summary
  1. Oversee frontline team members within assigned stand; delegate daily tasks, conduct Pre-Shift meetings with team to effectively communicate daily goals, updates, and assignments.
  2. Supervise stand operations; ensuring efficient operations and quality standards are met.
  3. Ensure proper stand setup, cleanliness, and organization of assigned stand daily.
  4. Collaborate with Warehouse staff for product ordering, stocking, and inventory management.
  5. Work closely with frontline and back-of-house teams to execute event-specific menu items, ensuring adherence to event specifications, recipes, and Levy Core Signature standards.
  6. Enforce safety standards and food safety compliance, including proper food handling, cross-contamination prevention, and maintaining safe food temperatures.
  7. Ensure all equipment and stations are properly cleaned and maintained, following safety procedures and sanitation guidelines. Supervise equipment usage and cleanliness.
  8. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels; complete production logs, monitor portion control and waste/spoilage/gratis logs.
  9. Conduct accurate inventory counts daily and monthly.
  10. Collaborate with management, supervisors, and team members to ensure timely service and efficient operations.
  11. Assist with coordination of daily and event-specific logistics and operations as required.
  12. Provide break coverage and fill staffing gaps in various Concessions roles as needed.
  13. Ensure excellent guest experience; deescalate and resolve guest complaints promptly.
  14. Operate POS system and oversee adherence to cash-handling procedures; complete end-of-event reconciliation and administrative duties.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for staff; assist management with addressing employee concerns and performance issues.
  16. Oversee support and temporary staff within stand, providing guidance and ensuring they adhere to operational and safety protocols.
  17. Ensure compliance with all Levy policies, procedures, and Levy Core Signatures.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  1. Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience.
  4. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
  6. This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Food Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry.
  2. 1 years’ experience in Lead role preferred.
Physical demands:
  1. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
  2. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary.
  3. Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
  4. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  5. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
